We’re seeking caring Female Disability Support Workers to support female NDIS participants living with mental health and psychosocial disabilities in Caboolture QLD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support in accordance with participants’ NDIS plans.
- Assist with community access, social engagement, and recreational activities.
- Support participants to build independent living skills and daily routines.
- Promote positive mental health, wellbeing, and recovery-focused outcomes.
- Assist with personal care where required.
- Maintain accurate progress notes and incident reports.
- Build skilled,
respectful relationships with participants, families, and allied health professionals.
- Follow positive behaviour support strategies and organisational policies.
- Ensure participant safety while maintaining dignity, choice, and control.
Essential Requirements:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Mental Health, Community Services, or a related qualification.
- Experience supporting people with mental health or psychosocial disabilities.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
