Head Chef – Lead, Create & Inspire

We’re looking for an experienced, passionate, and reliable Head Chef to lead our kitchen at Momo Wholefood, a busy vegan & vegetarian café in the heart of Newcastle.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves fresh, wholesome food and wants creative freedom in menu planning, kitchen leadership, and building a strong team culture.

What you’ll be doing:

- Leading day-to-day kitchen operations
- Designing seasonal and innovative vegan/vegetarian menus
- Managing food prep, quality, and consistency
- Training and mentoring kitchen staff
- Stock control, ordering, and cost management
- Maintaining food safety and kitchen standards

What we’re looking for:

✔ Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
✔ Strong leadership and team management skills




✔ Creative with menu development
✔ Reliable, committed, and highly organised
✔ Passion for plant-based food and quality produce
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
