Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide preventive care and health education to patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using our practice’s electronic health system.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
- Provide follow-up care, safety-netting and monitoring of patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Current enrolment in the RACGP GP training program.
- Excellent clinical skills with a strong focus on evidence-based and patient-centred care.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a large team.
- Time management skills and a a strong work ethic.
