Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise data products on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineering, analytics, governance, and architecture teams to maximize the value of enterprise data assets. The ideal candidate combines strong product management expertise with deep knowledge of cloud data platforms, analytics, Agile delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for enterprise data and analytics products.
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements, translating them into product roadmaps, epics, features, and user stories.
- Partner with Data Engineers, Architects, Analysts, and Data Scientists to deliver scalable data products, dashboards, APIs, and self-service analytics solutions.
- Manage product backlogs, sprint planning, release roadmaps, and Agile delivery.
- Track product KPIs, adoption metrics, and business outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise data governance, security, privacy, and compliance standards.
- Promote data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and stewardship across data products.
- Lead stakeholder workshops, product discovery sessions, roadmap reviews, and change management initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, automation, and customer experience through data-driven solutions.
- Manage cross-functional dependencies, delivery risks, and stakeholder expectations.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Data & Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related fields.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data products and analytics solutions.
- Strong understanding of up-to-date data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
- Solid understanding of data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration, and analytics ecosystems.
- Experience defining product strategy, roadmaps, business cases, prioritization frameworks, and success metrics.
- Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, compliance, and data quality frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Telecommunications, Network Analytics, or Digital Transformation programs.
- Knowledge of AI/ML, predictive analytics, and data science product delivery.
- Experience with Kafka, event streaming, and real-time analytics.
- Familiarity with metadata management, data cataloging, and governance tools.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, API products, self-service analytics, and data monetization.
- Certifications such as SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner, CSPO, Pragmatic Product Management, or GCP Data/Cloud certifications.
Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
