We’re partnering with one of Australia’s most respected financial institutions and require the services of 4x Senior Software Engineers to be part of a major project initiative, on a 12 month, daily-rate contract basis!

With cybersecurity front of mind in the online banking space, you will join the Access & Entitlements team where you will focus on the delivery of a real-time, low-latency omni-channel platform used to manage permissions and entitlement for millions of users. You will work on Java /Spring Boot based microservices, looking to improve quality and performance of this high-load system. You will also work on improving practices within the team to enhance overall developer experience.

What You’ll Need:

- Broad depth of knowledge in building Java based applications for the cloud




- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot based microservices
- Experience with REST APIs and understanding of GraphQL APIs
- Experience with messaging middleware (PubSub/Solace/SQS/SNS)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL DBs
- Experience in automated unit and integration testing
- Good understanding of design patterns and clean code practices
- Valuable understanding of how to build resilient microservices systems with high standards on code maintainability
- Ability to write code and lead design decisions by engaging and reusing highly performant, critical code components.
