Our client, Jestins Auto Electric, is seeking a full-time Motor Mechanic to join their team, with a salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 per annum plus superannuation. Located in Kelmscott, Western Australia 6111, Jestins Auto Electric is an automotive electrical service provider that specialises in diagnosing, repairing, and installing electrical systems for cars and heavy machinery, including auto electrical repairs, air conditioning servicing, and electrical installations. The business provides tailored, high-quality automotive electrical and mechanical services to keep vehicles and equipment operating reliably.

Key Responsibilities include:

· Identifying and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines, systems and components.

· Removing and dismantling engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other mechanical components for inspection.

· Repairing or replacing worn and defective parts before reassembling mechanical components in accordance with service manuals.

· Carrying out scheduled servicing, including oil changes, lubrication and engine tune ups,



to maintain vehicle performance and compliance with pollution regulations.

· Reinstalling engines and mechanical components following the completion of repairs.

· Inspecting and adjusting repaired mechanical components to verify correct operation and performance.

· Operating computerised diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle systems and identify faults.

· Examining vehicles to determine repairs required to achieve roadworthiness.

· Attending vehicle breakdowns and performing on-site mechanical repairs where required

· Inspecting mechanical components for wear, damage and serviceability before carrying out repairs.

· Repairing and replacing brake, suspension and steering system components to maintain safe vehicle operation.

· Replacing faulty clutch, cooling and exhaust system components to restore vehicle performance.

Qualifications:

· Must possess Certificate III in Light Vehicle Technology.

· Must have three (3) years of relevant work experience as a Motor Mechanic in Australia.

Note: Australian Citizens and permanent residents are preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
