Community Support Professional - Mental Health Experience required

Just Better Care Eastern Suburbs is looking for a compassionate and reliable Community Support Qualified to join our team.

We are looking for a Support Professional to provide high-quality, person-centred support to a client located in Mascot. The successful candidate will have experience supporting clients with mental health needs and demonstrate a strong understanding of positive behaviour support, building trust, and promoting independence.

We provide in-home disability and aged care services, empowering people to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their community. Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care with respect, dignity, and kindness.

- Above award pay: $38 – $76/hr (based on shift time)

What You’ll Be Doing

- Providing personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication support
- Assisting with domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Supporting clients with social engagement, community outings, shopping, and appointment
- Supporting clients with high care and complex needs
- Monitoring and reporting client wellbeing and changes
- Attending training sessions and team meetings

What You’ll Need

- Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support or related field
- Experience working with complex care needs and behaviour support plans
- Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NSW Driver’s Licence and reliable car
- Strong communication skills and a caring attitude
