We are seeking applicants for the morning OR night shift that are motivated, committed and passionate to join our team. Must be flexible and be available to work weekdays and weekends. You must be well presented and thrive in communicating with others. You will be engaging with members by phone and in person, must be helpful and service orientated.
A genuine interest in working in a gym setting ESSENTIAL and Fitness Industry experience preferred. Please note that just being a member at a gym or training is not considered fitness experience.
This role would suit those considering studying for Cert III or Cert IV in Fitness, those currently studying or those that have completed their studies in this area.
Responsibilities and Duties
Greeting members -Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Sales / retail experience an advantage
Sport supplement knowledge preferred
Handling member requests and queries
Computer literacy
Maintenance of the reception area and stock
Ability to work well under pressure
Current drivers licence and own car
Flexibility with rotating shifts
Gym maintenance duties (This will involve cleaning equipment and returning dumbbells and weights back to their place, lifting involved)
Qualifications and Skills
Current First Aid and CPR certificate preferred
Clubware system and POS knowledge an advantage
Must be a Australian Citizen or permanent Australian resident
POLICE CHECK will be conducted
