About the Role

We’re searching for a bright, organised, and creative Salon Assistant to support both our stylists and management team. This is a dynamic, multi-tasking role that blends front-of-house reception, administration, creative marketing support, and hands-on salon assistance. You’ll be the first smile clients see when they walk through our doors and the calm, capable energy that keeps our salon running beautifully behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

· Salon & Client Care

- Greet clients with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming, luxury experience from the moment they arrive.
- Offer refreshments, maintain salon presentation, and ensure each guest feels comfortable and cared for.
- Support stylists by preparing client areas, assisting with shampooing, treatments, scalp massages, dry offs/blowaves - any colour application experience will be highly regarded
- Keeping the salon setting pristine, dusting shelves, sweeping the floors and ensuring our salon is always neat and tidy.

· Front-of-House & Administration

- Answer phone calls, respond to messages, and manage appointment scheduling through our salon booking system.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as managing client files,



supplier communication, and ordering supplies.
- Maintain efficient day-to-day operations and ensure the salon runs smoothly.

· Marketing & Social Media Support - Assist the owner in executing the salon’s social media strategy.

- Capture photo and video content in-salon for use on Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
- Use Canva and other tools to design simple graphics, posts, and marketing materials.
- Help manage and schedule posts, maintain social media tools, and support our EDM (email marketing) communications.

Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
