Vision Freight Systems is looking for an experienced Forklift Driver / Linehaul Loader to join our growing Brisbane team.
This is a full-time position responsible for the safe and effective loading and unloading of our linehaul fleet, ensuring freight is loaded, secured and dispatched safely for transport throughout Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload linehaul vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Load tautliner, drop deck and mezzanine floor trailers.
- Correctly strap and secure freight in accordance with load restraint requirements.
- Handle freight of varying shapes, sizes and weights.
- Work closely with the Operations Team to ensure freight departs on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised loading area.
- Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements and Chain of Responsibility obligations.
Essential Requirements
- Current LF Forklift Licence.
- Previous experience loading general freight.
- Experience loading tautliner, drop deck and mezzanine floor trailers.
- Sound understanding of load restraint practices.
- Ability to safely handle a wide variety of freight.
- Reliable, punctual and safety focused.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced freight environment.
Desirable
- Previous experience with a general freight or express freight transport company.
- Knowledge of linehaul loading procedures and freight sequencing.
