Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. Join our dedicated Rehabilitation Ward team as a Registered Nurse and play a vital role in supporting patients on their journey to recovery. In this rewarding position, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals recovering from injury, surgery, or complex health conditions. Working within a multidisciplinary team,



you will assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and contribute to achieving optimal health outcomes. Your ability to build trusting relationships, promote independence, and deliver compassionate care will be central to your success in this role.

What you will bring to the role

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated recent experience and clinical skills as a Registered Nurse relevant to the position including completion of a new graduate Registered Nurse program or equivalent clinical experience.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work including working collaboratively.
- Demonstrated effective communication using information technology, written and verbal means.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and quality improvement.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to work a flexible rotating roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week according to requirements.
