The Chance

Australian Regional Insights is the integrated market research division of Australian Community Media (ACM) in Australia, offering a wide range of market research, strategic marketing and agricultural database access for businesses looking to access rural, regional and agricultural Australians.

We are looking for expressions of interest to work as a casual in-person Market Research Interviewer on a temporary basis. You’ll be conducting intercept surveys with attendees at AgQuip, in-person, from 18-20 August 2026.

This is a market research only position and does not involve sales activities. You will need to have proficiency with tablet/iPad use, have positive grammar and spelling, and be comfortable walking around the crowds, approaching and talking to people.

The shifts will be 3 hours each day, either 10am-1pm or 1-4pm. A three day ticket to AgQuip is included as part of your employment. The role suits Agricultural Science, Marketing or Psychology students, but we’re open to any disciplines. If you have knowledge of agriculture or what life is like in our regional and rural communities, that’s a bonus.
