Roman’s Deli is looking for skilled and reliable Prep Hands to join our kitchen team.

We’re after someone who is organised, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced food environment. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in quality prep, has a sharp eye for detail, and understands the importance of consistency in a busy kitchen.

Role Highlights:

Pay: $22.00 – $32.00 per hour, based on experience and role level
Job Type: Casual or Full-Time
Location: In office at Roman’s Deli

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous experience in food prep, kitchen hand, deli, café or hospitality role
- Strong knife skills and food handling knowledge preferred
- Ability to follow prep lists, recipes, and kitchen systems
- Clean, organised, and efficient working style
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work quickly without compromising quality




- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment

About the Role:

You’ll be responsible for preparing and portioning ingredients, maintaining stock and cleanliness, and ensuring the kitchen is fully set up for smooth and efficient service.

This role is key to making sure the team is set up for success every day.
