ICT Quality Assurance Engineer

ZECO Pty Ltd is a growing provider of commercial cleaning and facility services throughout Queensland. We utilise creative digital technologies to manage workforce scheduling, quality inspections, customer communications and operational reporting. We are seeking an experienced ICT Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance and quality of our operational software platforms and mobile applications.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for planning, executing and maintaining quality assurance processes across the company's operational software, field service management platforms, customer booking systems and mobile applications. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external software vendors to ensure our business systems operate efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and execute software test plans, test cases and testing frameworks.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, user acceptance and mobile application testing.
- Identify, document and manage software defects using defect tracking systems.
- Analyse software failures and undertake root cause analysis to support defect resolution.
- Test updates and enhancements to field service management systems, customer portals and internal business applications.




- Validate API integrations between scheduling platforms, CRM systems, accounting software and payment gateways.
- Conduct system performance, data integrity and security testing.
- Verify compliance with company quality standards and operational requirements.
- Produce testing documentation, quality assurance reports and technical user guides.
- Liaise with software developers, vendors and operational stakeholders to facilitate continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a closely related ICT discipline.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in technical support, software testing and/or software quality assurance.
- Experience performing functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.
- Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Selenium, Postman, JMeter or similar.
- Knowledge of SQL, API testing and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience testing web-based and mobile applications.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare technical documentation.
