DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS:

Our business is Country Gardens Motel serving Indian Cuisine and Western Cuisine. We need Cook to perform the following duties:

Job Description

· Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes for a full-service restaurant in accordance with established recipes and service standards

· Monitoring food quality, portion control, and presentation during all stages of preparation and service

· Maintaining consistency in portion control and presentation

· Operating and regulating kitchen equipment, including ovens and grills, to ensure correct cooking temperatures

· Seasoning, plating, and finishing dishes with appropriate sauces, garnishes, and accompaniments

· Preparing meals to meet special dietary requirements and customer requests





· Managing storage, rotation, and labelling of food items

· Ensuring safe storage of food in temperature-controlled facilities in line with food safety requirements

· Monitoring stock levels and minimising food wastage

· Assisting with menu planning, food preparation levels, and service coordination

· Supporting and guiding junior kitchen staff during service periods

Skills Required:

Qualification: Cert III + two years of on the job training or Cert IV or Diploma

Experience: 3 years of experience

Specialisation: Indian Cuisine
