ESS Defence provides food service and hospitality support to Defence sites across Australia. We deliver high-quality meals and service that support the wellbeing of Australian Defence Force personnel.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Blamey Barracks, Kapooka. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading teams, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high operational standards in a structured environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead and support front-of-house and hospitality team members
- Oversee daily dining room operations and service delivery
- Coordinate meal services and support hospitality functions and events
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
- Ensure high standards of customer service and presentation
- Assist with staff training, coaching and development
- Support rostering and operational requirements as required

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Experience in hospitality, food service or supervisory roles




- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
- Ability to organise workloads and manage competing priorities
- Professional presentation and positive attitude
- Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check
