Costas Seafood Cafe is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Food Preparation Team Members to join our growing kitchen team.

Initial training will be provided at our Capalaba store, with successful applicants transitioning to our new Wynnum location once it opens.

About the Role

As a Food Preparation Team Member, you'll play an important role in preparing fresh ingredients, assisting with seafood preparation and helping maintain a clean, organised kitchen to ensure every customer receives the highest quality meal.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and portion fresh ingredients
- Assist with seafood handling and food preparation
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic work area
- Follow all food safety and workplace health and safety procedures
- Assist the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy periods

About You

- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail




- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Previous food preparation or seafood experience is an advantage but not essential—full training will be provided.

Availability

- Evening shifts
- Weekend availability essential
- Additional shifts may be available during busy periods

Ability to Commute/Relocate

- Able to attend initial training at Capalaba, QLD
- Able to work permanently at our Wynnum, QLD location once the store opens
- Reliable transport is preferred
