ABOUT MFLC LOGISTICS

MFLC Logistics is an Australian freight and logistics operator specialising in cold chain (refrigerated and frozen) and dry freight for food manufacturers, distributors and FMCG clients across Victoria and New South Wales. We are growing our overnight delivery fleet and looking for experienced MR drivers who take pride in getting the run done cleanly, safely and on time.

THE ROLE

Overnight delivery runs on heavy rigid vehicles, 10-14 pallet rigids, into restaurants & food service venues. You will load at depot, work a sequenced run, and unload into store.

Typical start: 7:00pm-10:00pm

Shift length: 5-10 hours

Days: Fortnightly Rosters Can Include Weekends

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and reporting defects
- Loading and securing chilled, frozen and dry freight - pallets, cages and loose cartons
- Delivering a sequenced run of stores using hand trolley, pallet jack and tailgate
- Unloading into store, including moving stock into coolrooms and freezers
- Recording temperatures at load and delivery, and following cold chain procedures
- Capturing PODs on scanner or app, reconciling paperwork, reporting shorts and damages
- Managing after-hours store access (keys, alarm codes, dock protocols) responsibly
- Keeping the truck clean and working within fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility obligations

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

- Current HR licence (Heavy Rigid) and a clean driving record




- Demonstrated experience in metro delivery work - night or early-morning store delivery experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable with sustained physical work: repetitive lifting and carrying of cartons up to approximately 20kg, manoeuvring dolleys, and working in chilled and freezer environments
- Confident reversing into tight docks and residential-adjacent retail sites
- Good written and verbal English for paperwork, scanners and store contacts
- Reliable, self-directed, able to work unsupervised overnight
- Right to work in Australia

NICE TO HAVE

- Forklift licence (LF)
- Prior chilled or frozen food freight experience
- MC/HC licence - we have interstate linehaul work available
- Experience with electronic PODs and run-sheet apps
- Working knowledge of HVNL fatigue requirements and work diaries
