About the Role
Cavpower is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join as a Despatch Coordinator at the state-of-the-art Parts Centre at Gepps Cross. Offering unique schedules to suit different preferences.
Responsibilities of the role include
- Despatch / Outgoing freight
- Creating and maintaining operational procedures for all outgoing logistic tasks
- Housekeeping and other duties as required
- Leading a small team to prioritise workloads
- Charging of freight
- Ensuring correct completion of documentation and filing of all data
- Scheduling of lock up roster
- Participating in Contamination Control and Quality Assurance procedures within the warehouse
Skills & Experience
- Certificate in Warehousing or similar
- Experience with Caterpillar is desired but not essential
- Valid driver's license
- Valid forklift license
- Overhead crane experience and or ticket
- Proficient in using computer systems and software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, customers, and suppliers
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, adapting to changing priorities and working efficiently under pressure
