About the role

You will be joining ECME Civil, the civil construction arm of a group of companies. The majority of projects will be in-house, meaning your clients will also be your colleagues.

As Project Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of civil subdivision contracts from pre-construction through to practical completion and defects. You will lead project teams in the field, manage subcontractors, and ensure programmes and budgets are met.

This is a hands-on role. You will be expected to be on site regularly, understand what is happening in the ground, and provide clear direction to your supervisors and crews.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the full lifecycle of multiple civil subdivision projects simultaneously, from mobilisation through to defects liability

• Develop and maintain detailed programmes (MS Project) and drive schedule performance

• Oversee project budgets, cost reporting, and forecasting; identify and manage cost risks early

• Lead and mentor site supervisors and engineers

• Maintain strong relationships with consultants, local government authorities, and utility service providers

• Coordinate regulatory approvals, subdivision clearances, and authority inspections (Water Corporation, Western Power, LGA)

• Review and approve subcontractor programmes, ITPs, and SWMS

• Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies

• Support the Contracts Administrator with the preparation and assessment of variations and extension of time claims

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years in a project management role on subdivision or civil infrastructure projects in WA

• Demonstrated experience managing bulk earthworks, roads, drainage, and reticulation works





• Solid understanding of AS 2124 contract frameworks and standard project management practice

• Proficient in programme management tools (MS Project preferred)

• Sound knowledge of WA's subdivision approval process and utility coordination requirements

• Current WA driver's licence

• White Card (Construction Induction)

• Strong communicator — written and verbal — with the ability to resolve disputes professionally

• Chinese language proficiency preferred
