The Role
As a Clinical Specialist - Cardiac Rhythm Management,
you will provide clinical and technical support across Canberra, partnering with cardiologists, hospital teams and internal colleagues to deliver outstanding clinical outcomes.
Working across both public and private hospitals, you will support device implantation procedures, follow-up clinics, product education and clinical troubleshooting while collaborating closely with Territory Managers to support the ongoing growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Provide clinical and technical support for Cardiac Rhythm Management procedures and cardiac pacing therapies.
- Support physicians and hospital teams during device implantation procedures, follow-up clinics and troubleshooting activities.
- Provide device education, technical in-servicing and training to healthcare professionals.
- Assist with device programming, interrogation support and clinical guidance.
- Partner with Territory Managers to develop and execute account strategies that support business growth.
- Provide after-hours on-call clinical support as required.
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Clinical Leadership and Marketing teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
- Support educational workshops, conferences and industry events.
- Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to support business strategy.
- Assist with clinical research activities and studies where required.
- Monitor and manage field inventory to ensure product availability.
About You
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced CRM professional or cardiac healthcare specialist looking to take the next step in their clinical career within the medical device industry.
You'll ideally bring:
- Hands-on experience in supporting Cardiac Rhythm Management, cardiac pacing or cardiac device therapies.
- Experience supporting pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices, device clinics, device interrogation or programming.
- Previous experience as a Clinical Specialist, Cardiac Physiologist, Cardiac Scientist, Cardiac Technician or similar cardiac-focused clinical role.
- Cath lab experience supporting cardiac procedures and working closely with cardiologists and hospital teams.
- Solid technical aptitude and confidence delivering clinical education and support.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to provide clinical education and technical support to healthcare professionals.
- A team-oriented, team-focused approach and willingness to contribute within a close-knit team environment.
- A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout ACT
