We're looking for a hands-on Front of House Supervisor to lead the daily operations across our retail shop, café and guest services areas. This is an active, on-the-floor role where you'll work alongside your team, support guests directly, and keep all front of house areas running smoothly.

This is a permanent part-time position working alternate weekends, with availability required across all school holiday periods – our busiest and most rewarding times of year. For the right person, a pathway to a full-time role is available.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise staff across retail, café and guest services

- Work hands-on across all areas – serving guests, operating registers, and supporting the team during busy periods

- Deliver a warm, welcoming experience for every visitor

- Manage admissions, ticketing, memberships and guest enquiries

- Oversee café service, food handling and presentation standards

- Maintain retail displays, stock levels and merchandising

- Handle cash,



EFTPOS and end-of-day reconciliation

- Coordinate breaks, section allocations and daily team tasks

- Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS and venue procedures

- Open and/or close front of house areas

About You

- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in retail, hospitality or guest services

- A genuine, hands-on leader who enjoys being on the floor with the team

- Available to work alternate weekends

- Available across all school holiday periods

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Calm, organised and confident managing multiple areas during peak times

- Comfortable with POS systems, cash handling and reconciliation

- Current RSA and Food Handling certificate (or willingness to obtain)

- A love of animals and creating excellent family experiences is a bonus!
