Fuse Recruitment is partnering with a growing civil construction and infrastructure contractor to source an experienced Civil Estimator / Tender Coordinator to join their expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded estimator who enjoys being involved in the full tender lifecycle, from opportunity identification through to submission and project handover. Working closely with operational leaders, project teams and key stakeholders, you will play a critical role in securing future work and supporting the continued growth of the business.
The Opportunity
As the Civil Estimator / Tender Coordinator, you will be responsible for preparing competitive tender submissions across civil construction, infrastructure and resource sector projects.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders to gather technical information, develop pricing strategies, coordinate subcontractor pricing and ensure submissions are delivered accurately and on time.
This role offers exposure to a diverse project portfolio and the opportunity to contribute directly to the growth and success of a well-established contractor.
Key Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate tender opportunities across civil and infrastructure sectors
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, pricing schedules and tender documentation
- Review drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Coordinate subcontractor and supplier pricing submissions
- Develop competitive tender strategies and commercial proposals
- Liaise with project managers, engineers and operational teams throughout the tender process
- Conduct risk assessments and identify opportunities to strengthen submissions
- Ensure all tenders comply with client requirements and contractual obligations
- Maintain tender registers and submission records




- Assist with post-tender negotiations and project handovers

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring a combination of technical estimating expertise and strong commercial awareness.
Essential Requirements

- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
- Previous experience in civil estimating, tendering or bid coordination
- Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies and project delivery
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and contract documentation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written communication and tender preparation capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and competing deadlines
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Highly Regarded

- Experience pricing civil infrastructure, earthworks, roads, mining or resource sector projects
- Exposure to estimating software and project management platforms
- Knowledge of Australian construction contracts and procurement processes
- Experience working within a contractor environment
