Land Surveyor at Arnold Development Consultants:

Arnold Development Consultants (Arnolds) is seeking a Land Surveyor to join our Brisbane Property Surveying Team. The role involves a supportive and mentoring environment.

Established initially in Brisbane in the early 1960's, Arnolds rapidly expanded to the Gold Coast by 1969. In our 60 years of service to Queensland, Arnolds are proud of our land development history, through the delivery of titling, design, approval and subdivision services, which have conservatively resulted in more than 50,000 new properties in Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

What are we looking for?:

- Arnolds requires a Land Surveyor who works well in a team environment;

- This role offers a high level of autonomy, allowing you to organise your own schedule while working across the office, from home, and on-site. We're looking for someone who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of their workload;

- The successful applicant will be responsible for managing both project outcomes and client expectations under the supervision and mentorship of Arnolds' Survey Manager.

- The successful applicant will be responsible for projects ranging in both size and complexity, in order to meet client requirements and maintain a high level of client satisfaction and profitability. Refer to: "YOUR LAND SURVEYING RESPONSIBILITIES" section below.

- With offices currently in Brisbane and the Gold Coast the successful applicant may need to travel if required;

- Answerable to Arnolds' Survey Manager





- Engineering Surveys; House Setouts; Construction Setouts; Civil Works; As-Constructed; Contour and Detail Surveys

- Cadastral Surveying; Identification Surveys; Subdivision Surveys; Commercial Lease Surveys

JOB LOCATIONS:

Based in Brisbane, Queensland (Office in Brisbane City 4000 & Robina 4226).

Alternative Office: Robina, Qld, 4226.

Travel: Projects may require someone desirous of travel. Arnolds currently have projects and clients in North, Central, Western and Southern Queensland.

SALARY:

- $110,000 to $130,000

- The position is a full time and salaried position

- The salary package will include a contemporary and fully kitted 4WD Survey Vehicle.

- Our attractive salary package covers your professional development inclusive of professional development and Government registration fees.

- Mentorship: You will have the opportunity to be mentored by our multidisciplinary environment, as well as our Managing Director who has assisted with the assessment and regulation of the profession in Queensland since 2008.

- The final salary package will depend upon the successful candidate's skills and experience.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Formal Land Surveying Qualifications. Either an Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree from a recognised tertiary institution.

- Registration as a Surveyor with the Surveyors Board of Queensland or equivalent Registration with an equivalent Board from another State of Australia or from New Zealand. e.g Surveying Associate, Surveying Graduate or Registered Surveyor.

- Good understanding of the cadastral surveying requirements in Queensland with respect to relevant legislation, associated regulations and policy, as per the Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing, and Regional and Rural Development.
