**Inverell District Hospital** is seeking **Rural Generalists with advanced skills in Emergency Medicine** and **General Practitioners with a strong interest in Emergency Care** to deliver comprehensive **primary care, inpatient services, and emergency medicine** to the local community.

* **Staff Specialist**
* **Fee-for-Service**
* **Sessional Visiting Medical Officer (VMO)**

About You – Essential Qualifications & Attributes

You will have:

* A **primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA**
* **Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM**, Rural Generalist qualification, or eligibility via an overseas-trained specialist pathway
* Recent and comprehensive experience in **General Practice and Emergency Medicine**
* A solid commitment to **ongoing professional development**
* The ability to support and teach **junior doctors and trainees**
* Excellent **written and verbal communication skills**
* Proven ability to work collaboratively within **multidisciplinary teams**
* Leadership capability, adaptability, and experience in **safety and quality improvement**
* Commitment to **clinical governance, peer review, and professionalism**
* A demonstrated passion for **advocacy and improving individual and community health outcomes**
