Site-Based Project Engineer - Civil Infrastructure (Mining)

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join a major civil infrastructure project on a Queensland mine site. Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of a diverse range of civil works while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage and coordinate daily site activities, subcontractors and project resources.
- Oversee project planning, programming, cost control and procurement.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental requirements.
- Prepare and manage project documentation including RFIs, ITPs, SWMS, progress claims and reporting.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Mentor Site Engineers and contribute to the ongoing development of the project team.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience as a Project Engineer delivering civil infrastructure projects.
- Experience working on mine site or heavy civil projects,



ideally within the resources sector.
- Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, concrete, roadworks and civil infrastructure construction.
- A Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a quick-paced site environment and lead project delivery teams.
