We operate a multi-million-dollar fleet of specialised underground mining equipment across multiple continents and conditions.
We are currently seeking a Storeperson with warehouse operations experience to join our Adelaide Central Receivals team as part of the Group Logistics department.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Responsible for the effective management of inventory, materials handling, and warehouse operations. This role ensures the timely receipt, storage and dispatch of goods while maintaining accurate records and upholding safety standards. The duties on a day to day would look like:
- Receive, inspect and process incoming goods and materials
- Accurately pick, pack and dispatch order to internal or external customers
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure all inventory is stored appropriately, and warehouse is kept clean and orderly
- Enter data into warehouse systems (e.g. ERP or inventory software)
- Report damaged or missing inventory to the accountable leader
- Assist with loading and unloading of freight as required
- Always follow company safety policies and procedures
- Effective communication and collaboration with procurement, logistics and operational teams.
Requirements:
- Current and valid manual Australian Driver's License
- National Police Clearance (valid within six months)
- Proven experience in a similar role or warehousing role environment
- Must have the right to work in Australia
- Willing to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical
- Valid Forklift License (desirable)
- Experience in an underground mining setting is preferred but not essential.
The successful candidates will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening prior to an Offer of Employment being made.
