Our Housekeeping team plays a critical role in maintaining the park’s reputation for cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

With an extensive accommodation offering of 100 self-contained cabins, 29 motel rooms, and 7 luxury safari tents, this role is essential in ensuring operational efficiency and consistently high presentation standards across the park.

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support the leadership and daily operations of our Housekeeping and Amenities Departments.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting the Housekeeping Manager in supervising team members, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest readiness are maintained.

You will play a key role in leading the team, maintaining operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise, mentor, and support the Housekeeping and Amenities team

- Conduct room inspections to ensure compliance with company standards

- Support daily housekeeping operations,



including assignment planning and checklist completion

- Respond to guest requests and resolve issues promptly and professionally

- Coordinate closely with Reception and Maintenance teams to ensure rooms are guest-ready

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and operational efficiency

- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory or leadership role (hotel, resort, holiday park, or similar)

- Excellent organisational and time management skills

- High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

- Ability to problem solve and manage competing priorities

- Understanding of workplace health and safety practices

- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and varied shifts as required

- Current Driver’s Licence
