The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and detail-focused professional to play a key role in the delivery of Council’s strategic framework. Reporting to the Principal – Strategic Planning, you will contribute to the development and delivery of key strategic initiatives, including Council’s Strategic Management Plan, Four Year Delivery Plan and Annual Business Plan. You will coordinate quarterly and annual corporate reporting processes, prepare high-quality organisational performance reports, and work closely with senior leaders across the organisation to support informed decision-making and strategic outcomes,



including initiatives such as election advocacy.

This role requires strong attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to move seamlessly between different priorities while maintaining high standards of customer service, accuracy and confidentiality.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

- A tertiary qualification in Law, Public Policy, Project Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Business Administration, Analytics, Government, Research (or related field); or relevant experience in positions related to strategic planning, management reporting, business analytics, project coordination, program delivery, research, business support, executive administration (or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong digital literacy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively with senior staff and build positive relationships across a complex organisation.
- Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- A flexible, adaptable approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- A customer-focused mindset and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
