We have partnered with a highly regarded Perth-based construction company with an outstanding reputation for delivering quality projects across the multi-residential, education, aged care, and commercial sectors.
With a strong pipeline of secured work and a number of significant developments commencing, the business is entering an exciting period of sustained growth. As a result, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Contract Administrator to join the Multi-Residential team.
Working across a diverse portfolio of apartment, townhouse, and group housing developments, you'll play a key role in the commercial delivery of projects from procurement through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer subcontractor and supplier agreements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontract packages.
- Manage procurement, tendering, and contract documentation.
- Assess and process progress claims, variations, and payment schedules.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow to ensure commercial performance.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, and consultants to achieve project objectives.
- Assist with forecasting, reporting, and final account negotiations.
- Ensure contractual compliance and proactively manage project risk.
About You
- Previous experience as a Contract Administrator within the commercial or residential construction industry.
- Experience delivering multi-residential projects will be highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and cost management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
