Our client is a well-established engineering company based in Henderson, supporting the marine, mining, energy and industrial sectors across Western Australia. They are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Trade Assistant / Yardhand to join their workshop team based in Henderson.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work and is looking for a long-term opportunity.
About the Role:
- General yard and workshop duties
- Loading and unloading materials
- Assisting tradespeople with daily tasks
- Forklift operation
- Local deliveries as required
- Manual handling and keeping the yard organised
What's on Offer?
- $40-$45 per hour (depending on experience)
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm
- Overtime available
- Casual role with the intention of permanent employment for the right person
- Immediate start available
To Be Considered You Will Have:
- Previous experience in a Trade Assistant, Yardhand or similar role
- HR Driver's Licence (essential)
- Forklift Licence (essential)
- Construction White Card (highly regarded)
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical/drug & alcohol test
- National police check or willing to obtain
- Full Australian Working Rights
