Key Responsibilities

As an Water & Wastewater Operator, you will play an important role in maintaining the site's wastewater treatment systems while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and EPA licence requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring site activities comply with EPA licence conditions and relevant environmental legislation.

- Assisting with routine environmental inspections across the site.

- Reporting and documenting environmental incidents when required.

- Supporting maintenance personnel with the servicing and repair of wastewater treatment equipment.

- Maintaining a clean, secure,



and organised wastewater treatment area.

- Monitoring and recording daily, weekly, and monthly water quality, biogas production, and operational data.

- Assisting with wastewater sampling and testing as required.

- Monitoring pumps, tank levels, flow rates, and treatment processes using SCADA/PLC systems.

- Carrying out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks.

- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.

- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Monitoring SCADA/PLC systems - willingness to learn.

- A proactive approach to safety, housekeeping, and environmental compliance.

- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
