About the Team

External Engagement and Partnerships focuses on strengthening relationships across industry, government and the community, supporting collaboration and engagement across faculties and central units. The Partnership Delivery function is focused on ensuring consistently excellent partnership outcomes and experiences by providing targeted operational and account management support through the partnership execution phase.

Job Purpose

This role provides strategic advice and support in relation to research funding opportunities to enhance research funding performance and impact. It contributes to the University's research capability development program and partners with the research community to build capability and support high quality funding applications.

Role Responsibilities

- Lead the university wide partnership delivery function across a hub and spoke model.
- Oversee development and use of the CRM to support coordinated engagement and data visibility.
- Drive consistent delivery processes, governance and compliance approaches.
- Coordinate delivery of initiatives across faculties, research centres and enabling services.
- Provide direction and support to the delivery team to maintain service quality and outcomes.
- Translate partnership agreements into operational plans including governance and risk management.
- Advise senior leadership on delivery performance, risks and opportunities.

Skills, Attributes and Knowledge





- Strong leadership and team management capability with a focus on accountability and performance.
- Ability to coordinate complex multi stakeholder partnerships across varied environments.
- Knowledge of governance, risk, compliance and operational planning frameworks.
- Robust project coordination and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across internal and external groups.
- Clear communication skills to convey complex information and support collaboration.
- Understanding of university, industry and government environments and partnership contexts.

Experience

- Experience leading partnership delivery or stakeholder coordination in complex environments.
- Experience managing teams and supporting performance and accountability.
- Experience delivering high value partnerships including planning, risk and review.
- Experience working across organisational structures and with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience using CRM systems and data to support delivery and performance tracking.

Qualifications

- Postgraduate qualification with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

What We Offer

Base Salary Range: SSG2 plus 17% superannuation (pension)

The position is full time and will be made on a continuing basis.
