About The Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Stores & Administration Officer to support warehouse operations and provide administrative assistance within a secure operational environment. This hands-on role combines warehouse, inventory and logistics responsibilities with office administration to ensure the efficient movement of goods and the smooth operation of daily business activities.

Working within a collaborative team, you will assist with stores management, procurement, stock control and records administration while supporting operational teams across the site. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy a varied role that combines physical work with administration and customer service.

Role: Assistant Centre Administration Officer

Pay: 42.26/hr + Super

Location: Wellington

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Duration: 20/07/2026 to 19/01/2027

Roster

19 working days across a 28-day roster cycleAverage 76 hours per fortnightAlternate weekends and some public holidays required

7:30am - 3:30pm (38-minute lunch break)Weekends & Public Holidays: 7:00am - 3:00pm (38-minute lunch break)

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other authorised mobile plant and equipment safely.Receive, inspect, unload and distribute incoming goods.Load and dispatch deliveries in accordance with operational requirements.Deliver stock, equipment and supplies throughout the facility.Maintain accurate inventory, stocktake and warehouse records.Assist with procurement activities, purchase orders and supplier coordination.Support stores operations including receipting, storage and asset management.Maintain electronic and manual records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.Process documentation using organisational systems and Microsoft Office.Assist with records management and document control.Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding stock availability and operational requirements.Maintain clean, organised and protected warehouse and storage areas.Follow workplace health and safety procedures and safe manual handling practices.Provide professional administrative support to operational teams.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiencies.Undertake other duties consistent with the level and responsibilities of the role.

About You

Previous experience in warehouse administration, stores, logistics, inventory control or administration.Current LF Forklift Licence with practical operating experience.Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence.Experience operating forklifts, pallet movers or similar warehouse equipment.Demonstrated experience with inventory control, warehousing or stores management.Strong administration skills with experience maintaining accurate records.Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook,



Word and Excel.Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.Ability to safely undertake manual handling and lifting tasks.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to work effectively within a secure and highly regulated environment.Comfortable working collaboratively with a diverse range of internal stakeholders.Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screening, including a National Criminal History Check and other government compliance requirements where applicable.Applicants must have valid unrestricted working rights in Australia. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must hold Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a valid long-term work visa with unrestricted work rights.
