About the Role

As a Pool Lifeguard, you will:

- Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all patrons

- Maintain vigilant supervision across aquatic facilities

- Identify and respond to potential risks

- Respond confidently to first aid situations and emergencies

- Maintain physical fitness required for the role

- Inspect facilities and report hazards

- Educate patrons on the Keep Watch Policy

- Maintain a clean, safe aquatic environment

- Support daily pool operations and water quality checks

- Enforce facility rules and safety policies

- Provide friendly, professional customer service

- Contribute to a positive, welcoming environment for the community

- Carry out general duties as required

- Work versatile shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays

Qualifications (Essential)

- Pool Lifeguard Certificate (Australia)

- CPR Certificate

- First Aid Certificate

- Working with Children Blue Card

- At least 12 months experience or a relevant Certificate III qualification
