Fleurieu Subsurface is a proudly South Australian owned and operated underground utility management company specialising in Service Locating and Non-Destructive Digging (NDD). Based in McLaren Vale, we deliver high-quality services across metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia.
We are currently seeking reliable, safety-focused and motivated Vacuum Truck Operators to join our growing team.
We have both Full-Time and Casual positions available with an immediate start for the right candidates.
This role is based in Southern Adelaide and offers a variety of work including metropolitan projects, regional travel and occasional working away from home.
About the Role
As a Vacuum Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating modern vacuum excavation equipment while providing exceptional service to our clients.
Your duties will include:
- Operating vacuum excavation trucks and associated equipment.
- Carrying out Non-Destructive Digging (NDD) and vacuum loading.
- Working safely around underground utilities.
- Completing daily pre-starts and equipment inspections.
- Maintaining accurate job records and paperwork.
- Delivering projects efficiently while maintaining a professional standard of work.
- Providing excellent customer service on every job.
Essential Requirements
- Current HR Truck Licence (SA)
- Previous experience in NDD or Vacuum Excavation
- Construction White Card
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Full Australian working rights
Desirable Qualifications
- First aid certificate
- Previous service locating experience

Remuneration
Remuneration will be negotiated based on qualifications, experience and licence class.
