Our client, a well-established construction contractor delivering complex commercial and civil projects across Perth, is seeking an experienced Formwork Supervisor to join their team south of the river. With a strong reputation for quality delivery and site safety, this business has secured ongoing project work and requires an experienced site leader to oversee formwork operations and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. Your new role

Overseeing the installation, inspection, and removal of formwork systems Ensuring formwork is assembled safely and in accordance with engineering drawings and project specifications Verifying dimensions, levels, alignment, supports, bracing, and load-bearing requirements prior to concrete pours

Coordinating with project managers, engineers, steel fixers, crane operators, and concrete crews Managing daily workforce allocation, productivity, and project scheduling Conducting site inspections and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards

Identifying and resolving site issues to minimise delays and ensure project milestones are achieved Providing leadership, guidance, and support to site-based formwork teams What you'll need to succeed

15-20 years' experience within the construction industry, with extensive exposure to formwork and concrete construction Proven experience as a Formwork Supervisor, Foreman, Leading Hand,



or Senior Formwork Carpenter Strong understanding of formwork systems, falsework, concrete placement, stripping sequences, and temporary works

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, construction plans, and specifications Demonstrated experience supervising formwork crews and coordinating multiple stakeholders on site Certificate III in Carpentry, Formwork/Falsework, or a related construction trade qualification (desirable but not essential)

Certificate IV in Building and Construction or other supervisory qualifications (advantageous) Current White Card Working at Heights, First Aid, or other construction-related safety certifications (advantageous)

Strong understanding of quality assurance, safety procedures, and site compliance requirements Excellent leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities Full working rights in Australia
