Salary Range: LGO6 $98,692 - $105,349 per annum + super)

About the Role:
The Property Leasing Officer will ensure the efficient and effective execution of all lease and licence agreements for Council. This role will also provide expert technical advice across all aspects of facilities management and is actively engaged in delivering a project management service to ensure Council’s buildings and facilities operational maintenance works are managed and completed within operational target and budget.
About You:
In this role, you will utilise your knowledge of relevant Queensland legislation, including the Local Government Act 2009, Local Government Regulation 2012 and Land Act 1994, to manage leasing arrangements and ensure compliance across Council’s property assets. You will be responsible for interpreting and administering leases, licences and property documentation, while also providing advice on building compliance and leasing legalities. Your ability to engage with a range of stakeholders, including community groups and industry professionals, will be essential as you negotiate terms and maintain strong working relationships.
You will demonstrate high-level decision-making capability and initiative, contributing to the development of effective strategies and processes that support continuous improvement across the property function.
Strong organisational and time management skills will enable you to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes within required timeframes.

* The Council contribution to employees' superannuation for contributing employees shall be 13.5% of the employees' ordinary time earnings subject to the employee contributing a minimum of 6% of their ordinary time earnings.
