We require up to 80 hardworking, physically able, reliable and preferably experienced poultry attendants to work in the upcoming season. All applications must be able to start around early August 2026 on an ongoing full time basis and must reside in the Neergabby, Bullsbrook or Hill River Area and/or have their own means of transportation as there is no option for public transport.
All applicants to offer guaranteed availability for a minimum 6 days per week, 8 hours per day with early starts. There is the possibility of extra hours of work to ensure all duties are completed to the quality required by management. You may be asked to work through weekends and / or on Public Holidays depending on workload.
Applicants must be willing to undertake all duties as follows:
- Moving thousands of chickens into and out of sheds everyday
- Pushing large trolleys
- Animal welfare checks
- Operation of Farm Packing Machines for Egg Collection
- Other general farmhand tasks as instructed / required by management
Applicants should be aware that the duties involved are very labour intensive and work will be both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions. The environment can be very dusty which may not be suitable for applicants who have dust allergies and / or asthma. We are looking for applicants who are reliable, have attention to detail, have gentle but fast hands, are physically fit and able to follow instructions.
Applicants with physical outdoor activity and lifestyle habits will be highly regarded. Successful applicants must be able to adhere to company QA and OH&S; requirements and be aware that random drug and alcohol testing applies to this workplace. Permanent Fulltime hourly rates based on the Modern Pastoral Award are on offer.
