About the Role
Every position at Compassion serves our mission to release children from poverty, in Jesus' name. As the NSW Schools Community Manager, you'll bring that mission into schools across NSW through Compassion's Changemakers program, growing and strengthening partnerships with school communities.
You'll manage a portfolio of school partnerships, building meaningful, long-term relationships through regular school visits, engaging presentations, student workshops and ongoing support. It's a role that inspires students to live lives of compassion, justice and faith, while deepening each school's connection to Compassion's mission.

Key Accountabilities

- Build and manage long-term partnerships with a portfolio of NSW schools, developing tailored plans aligned with each school's vision and student formation goals
- Deliver engaging Changemakers experiences, including; Launch days, workshops, leadership presentations and professional learning, across Sydney and regional NSW
- Represent Compassion with professionalism and enthusiasm, inspiring students, educators and school communities to live out their faith through action and Compassion.




- Foster meaningful relationships with school leaders and identify opportunities to deepen engagement and maximise partnership impact.
- Collaborate with the Schools Team to ensure a consistent partner experience, sharing best practice and helping shape the development of the Changemakers program
- Coordinate school visits, events, and partnership activities while maintaining accurate records and CRM data along the way.
- Continuously refine partnership experiences and resources to enhance engagement and long term impact.

What You'll Bring

- A genuine love for Jesus and a heart for helping young people grow in faith and character
- Strong relationship-building, communication and presentation skills, across all ages; Brings initiative, creativity and enthusiasm to every school engagement.
- Excellent organisation, planning and time management, with the ability to juggle competing priorities
- A proactive, self motivated and resilient approach, with the adaptability, positive attitude and team-oriented mindset to thrive in a team environment.
- Experience in Christian education, chaplaincy, youth ministry or stakeholder engagement (desirable)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, Ministry, Community Development, Business, Marketing or a related discipline (desirable).




- A current Driver's License and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
