Are you an experienced Electrician looking for your next challenge? Hahn Electrical Contracting is seeking skilled WA-based Electricians to join our FIFO team working across underground and surface mining operations throughout Western Australia.
Whether you already have underground mining experience or are looking to transition into the sector, we provide the support and training needed to help experienced tradespeople succeed.

About the Role
Working on an 8:6, 7:7 FIFO roster from Perth, you'll be part of an experienced team delivering maintenance, fault finding and project work across a range of mine sites throughout Western Australia.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Installation, maintenance and statutory testing of electrical infrastructure including HV and LV cabling, switchboards, starter panels and lighting systems.
- Maintenance of essential site services including ventilation, dewatering pumps and communications infrastructure.
- Fault finding, diagnostics and repair of underground and surface electrical equipment.
- Construction and commissioning of new electrical infrastructure and system upgrades.
- Working safely in accordance with site procedures and industry best practice.
This is a hands-on role offering long-term, stable work with a respected contractor delivering a diverse range of mining projects.
This is a FIFO position from Perth Airport only. Applicants must be based in Western Australia.
What You'll Bring
- WA Electrical Workers Licence.
- Australian Manual Driver's Licence.
- Working at Heights.
- Current LVR/CPR.
- National Police Clearance (within 3 months).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
- A robust commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Underground mining experience is advantageous but not essential. We welcome applications from experienced electricians looking to transition into mining.
