We are looking for a Senior Development Engineer to join our Development of Community Services division and play a pivotal role in contributing towards innovative engineering solutions and trusted technical leadership. As the Senior Development Engineer, you will be accountable for providing high-quality career development engineering advice and expertise across a broad range of development activities. Working towards engineering, planning and community outcomes, you will ensure that public infrastructure associated with new developments is designed, delivered and managed to the highest standard.
To be successful you will need:
- Sound knowledge of road, bridge, drainage, culvert, stormwater and building construction methods.
- Ability to engage with developers, contractors and the wider development industry.
- Highly developed written communication skills appropriate to the preparation of high level reports and the documentation of procedures and processes.
- The ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with staff, people at all levels within the public and private sectors, related industry and community interest groups.
- Knowledge and experience in civil engineering design and construction practices particularly relating to land development and associated infrastructure.
