Clever Cubs Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced and motivated Quality & Compliance Lead to help us deliver exceptional standards of education and care for our children and families.

Being family owned, we are looking for someone who will partner with our leadership team to build a culture of fun, integrity, excellence, superior service and continuous improvement.

This will initially be an on-the-floor leadership role, suited to someone who understands what an exceptional early learning environment looks and feels like. You will work alongside educators, positively influencing practice, strengthening accountability and helping team members lift the standard of care they provide each day.

We are seeking someone with the leadership potential and ambition to grow into a Centre Director role and, as Clever Cubs continues to expand, potentially progress into broader operational leadership positions. Applicants with an ECT qualification will be highly regarded.

What Clever Cubs can offer you:

- Competitive salary

- A genuine pathway towards a Centre Director role and beyond

- Work directly with our owners and senior leadership team

- Mentoring, support and investment in your professional development

- The opportunity to influence quality across a growing family-owned organisation

- Modern tools, technology and purpose-built learning environments

- Job security and stability

- A workplace that is fun, professional and supportive of all team members

- Onsite parking

About the role:

- Work on the floor alongside educators to model exceptional practice and standards of care

- Support educators to create engaging, calm and purposeful learning environments

- Coach and develop team members to strengthen their confidence, capability and accountability

- Help deliver a high-quality cycle of planning, curriculum and outcomes for every child

- Monitor practice against the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, service policies and regulatory requirements

- Assist with internal audits, observations, quality reviews and continuous-improvement initiatives

- Identify areas for improvement and work collaboratively with educators and leaders to implement practical solutions

- Support the service’s Quality Improvement Plan and preparation for Assessment and Rating

- Promote solid standards of active supervision, child safety, health, hygiene and risk management

- Establish and nurture respectful relationships with children, families and team members

- Positively influence team culture and help create a workplace built on excellence, integrity and continuous improvement

- Support the Centre Director and step into additional leadership responsibilities as your capability develops

About you:

- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education preferred, although experienced Diploma-qualified applicants will also be considered

- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and approved learning frameworks

- Experience in a Room Leader, Educational Leader, Assistant Director, Centre Director or similar leadership position

- Able to recognise what high-quality education and care looks like in day-to-day practice

- Confident working on the floor and leading through modelling, coaching and positive influence

- Able to have constructive conversations and hold team members accountable in a respectful and supportive way

- Passionate and committed to high-quality early childhood education and care

- Ambitious, motivated and interested in progressing into a Centre Director role and beyond

- A positive can-do attitude—enthusiastic, confident, honest, sincere, approachable and solutions-focused

- Enthusiastic about building a friendly, fun, professional and high-performing team culture

- Current First Aid Certificate, including CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis

- Current Working with Children Check

If you have the experience, leadership potential and passion to help us continually raise the standard of education and care, we want to meet you!
