SMS Group Services are currently seeking experienced and reliable Painter Blasters, Leading Hands and Supervisors for shutdowns and ongoing roles south of the river.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience working as a Painter Blaster or Painter Blaster Supervisor
- Ability to work independently and within fast-paced teams
- Strong commitment to safety and dedication to providing quality work
- Construction White Card
- Confined Space (CSE)
- Working at Heights (WAH)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- Rights to work in Australia
Desirable Criteria:
- Certificate III in Surface Preparation
- NACE/AMPP Coating Inspector Level 1 (CIP 1)
- NACE/AMPP Coating Inspector Level 2 (CIP 2) (Preferred for Supervisors)
- NACE/AMPP Coating Inspector Level 3 (CIP 3) (Highly Desirable for QA/QC Supervisors)
- UHP Operate a High Pressure Water Jetting System Certificate (Hydro Blasters)
- Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
- Current Police Clearance
- Forklift Ticket (LF)
- Elevated Work Platform (WP)
