Join a major greenfield resources project and play a key role in delivering environmental approvals for a significant iron ore development. The Role
Reporting to the Principal Environment, you will support the preparation and delivery of environmental approval documentation, with a focus on State and Commonwealth referral processes. You will coordinate technical inputs, prepare high-quality environmental documentation and work closely with internal stakeholders, consultants and regulators to ensure approvals are delivered on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare environmental approval and referral documentation.
- Coordinate technical specialist inputs and supporting studies.
- Assist with environmental impact assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Prepare stakeholder engagement summaries and regulatory responses.
- Review and quality assure environmental reports and supporting documentation.
- Support compliance with State and Commonwealth environmental legislation.
- Liaise with project teams, consultants and regulatory agencies.
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or a related discipline.
- Experience in environmental approvals, environmental management, impact assessment or a similar field.
- Strong technical writing and document preparation skills.
- Understanding of environmental assessment and approval processes in Australia.
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
