We seek a motivated physiotherapist to join our team and help us deliver outstanding patient care. Whilst we prefer candidates to have one to two years of experience in a private or public setting, new graduates are welcome to apply.
Expand your skills across a diverse clinical caseload, including musculoskeletal problems, sporting injuries and orthopaedic rehabilitation. A small yet busy practice in the Tuggeranong region of Canberra, Stride Physiotherapy is a well-respected practice in the community with established links to local GP networks, rehabilitation providers, orthopaedic specialists, and sporting organisations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' conditions to develop individualised treatment plans.
- Administer and oversee therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other physical interventions.
- Educate patients on injury prevention and management strategies.
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and progress reports.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest research and treatment techniques.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the clinic through participation in marketing initiatives and community outreach programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a physiotherapist (preferable but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in exercise prescription is desirable but not essential.
