The Espresso Project is seeking a Coffee Machine Technician to join our growing Perth team. No prior coffee machine experience is required - we’ll train you. What matters most is your attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
This is a great opportunity to build a long-term technical career working with commercial espresso equipment across some of Perth’s best cafés and venues.
About The Role
You’ll work alongside experienced technicians learning how to install, service, and maintain commercial espresso machines, grinders, and water filtration systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting senior technicians with service work and installations
- Learning fault-finding and repair processes
- Supporting preventative maintenance schedules
- Preparing equipment for café installations
- Maintaining tools, parts, and service readiness
- Gradually progressing to independent field service work
No two days are the same — this is a practical, hands-on role with real variety.
Who This Role Suits
This position is ideal if you:
- Enjoy working with tools and solving problems
- Have mechanical or electrical aptitude
- Like working independently but as part of a team
- Want a stable long-term trade-style career
- Take pride in doing things properly
- Experience in coffee making highly regarded
Experience in hospitality equipment, mechanical trades, electrical work, or general technical roles is helpful but not required.
