Early Years Classroom Teacher (Transition)

Essential Requirements:

1. A university degree in the relevant faculty discipline or equivalent with associated qualifications in Education

2. Ability to teach the assigned faculty subjects

3. Supplementary knowledge Australian Curriculum and Australian Professional Standards for Teachers

4. High-level literacy and numeracy skills

5. High-level collaboration, organisational and time management skills, with attention to documentation and compliance requirements

Northern Territory Teacher Registration (TRB)

7. Working with Children Clearance (WWCC) ‘Ochre Card’ - employment is conditional on compliance with the Care and Protection of Children Act (NT) 2007, as amended, and the accompanying regulations

8. National Police Clearance, maintained for the duration of employment

Desirable:

1. An ability to integrate and utilise ICT effectively within the classroom

2. Experience in teaching in the Early Years
