Key Responsibilities
Participant Engagement and Service Introduction
Establish initial contact with participants through personalised communication.
Provide information and guidance on available services, including:
- Plan Management
- Support Coordination
- Allied Health Services
Assist participants and families to understand service options and access appropriate supports.
Plan Management Administration
Process participant and provider invoices accurately and within required timeframes.
Maintain participant records and ensure information is recorded accurately in relevant systems.
Generate reports and documentation as required.
Monitor participant funding and expenditure to support effective budget management.
Manage daily administrative tasks associated with NDIS plan management services.
Financial and Provider Support
Work collaboratively with the Finance Team to ensure timely and accurate payment of service providers.
Assist in reconciling accounts and investigating invoice discrepancies.
Ensure all financial transactions comply with NDIS and organisational requirements.
Systems, Compliance and Reporting
Support the development and improvement of systems and processes in collaboration with the ICT Team.
Maintain participant confidentiality and data integrity at all times.
Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure documentation and reporting align with NDIA requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain positive relationships with participants, families, service providers, NDIA representatives, community organisations, and key stakeholders.
Work cooperatively with colleagues across the organisation to achieve positive outcomes.
Promotion and Business Development
Promote organisational services through community engagement, networking, and stakeholder relationships.
Support initiatives that increase awareness of available services among eligible participants.
Qualifications and experience
- Certificate IV and above in Business Management or related
- Compliance with NDIS Worker Screening requirements.
- Proven experience working with people living with disability and complex care needs, utilising a person‑centred approach.
- Experience managing a caseload of participants in a billable hour environment.
- Experience in Careview or similar systems is highly desirable
About You
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Solid administrative and organisational abilities with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Sound computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to person-centred service delivery and maintaining confidentiality.
- Experience in NDIS Plan Management, disability services, administration, finance, or customer service is highly regarded.
What You’ll Need
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Willing to undergo the Nation Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR
