About the role:

Key to this role will be supporting the Community Landscape Officers (CLOs) to deliver engagement activities across the region. This includes support and planning for events and workshops, assistance with meeting preparation and minute taking, vehicle management,



logistics planning, and support for project delivery. It will provide a unique opportunity for on-the-job learning in community engagement and NRM, supporting CLOs as they work closely with community. There will also be opportunities to work across the business, gaining experience in supporting our ecology, sustainable agriculture and biosecurity programs. No two days are the same and this role provides many new opportunities and experiences.

You will be supporting the board's CLOs who lead and support community participation through the board's seven Landscape Groups. They also deliver activities, training and events and supporting the community to increase knowledge on NRM issues such as pest plant and animal control, and soil and water related matters. The CLO team have solid links with landholders, volunteer groups, community, First Nation groups, government organisations and industry to develop partnerships that achieve NRM outcomes.

This role is based in Port Augusta and requires regular travel into the region, including occasional weekend work, and remote overnight absences.
